Comet Elenin & the Failure of the Public Education System

An Internet search of the term, "Elenin" yields almost 100% disinformational results. Thousands of videos and articles, posted by willfully deceptive or woefully uneducated people claim that the small-mass, long-period Comet Elenin, that is currently entering the Inner Solar System will have unfathomably apocalyptic effects on Earth.
With so many real problems in the world, such as the dysfunctional financial system; the dysfunctional governments; the illegal wars and the radiation poisoning from the nuclear meltdowns in Fukushima, Japan - you'd think we already had our plates full with enough real problems to be concerned about.
This mass-hysteria about Comet Elenin speaks to two things: 1) The epic failure of the public education system; 2) The complete loss of faith in "the authorities" - which is justified. This distrust, however is misplaced when it comes to the general scientific understanding of Comet Elenin.
The economy is tough. People are desperate. Some people are desperate enough to tap into this desperation by using fear and hysteria to sell you their product. Others just want to be "stars" on YouTube and jump on this viral bandwagon.
Comet Elenin is being falsely described as a brown dwarf star with 4-5x the mass of Jupiter - or as a rogue neutron star - or as the mythical "Nibiru" of ancient Sumerian lore. It's being claimed that Elenin's gravitational and electromagnetic fields will cause a massive shift in the Earth's axis of rotation, as it passes 20+ million miles away from us in a few months. The resulting planetary catastrophe would be unprecedented in modern times.
Don't let these people lie to you!
The only thing likely to crater into the Earth this Fall is the global financial banking system, which could very well be catastrophic for a period of time and for which it may be advisable to be prepared.

This video was well-done artistically and it speaks to the *statistically low* possibility that Elenin could get knocked off its present course by impacting with an asteroid and making a *direct hit* on Earth.
I think Elenin has now cleared the Asteroid Belt and is within the area of the orbit of Mars.
So, now the only potential danger is of it getting knocked off course by a NEO. That's the case with any comet, when it's at its perihelion. That's why people freak out about comets.
*But this is not what the hysterical YouTube popstars are talking about.*
This video wasn't saying anything about a "brown dwarf," with the gravity to tip over the Earth on its rotational axis.
The orbit of a brown dwarf binary twin to our sun would not come into the Inner Solar System, it would probably stay out past Pluto at it's closest. Jupiter keeps a lot of this dangerous stuff away by either throwing it out of the solar system or sucking it in and consuming it.
The dwarf twin has been predicted but it hasn't been found. If it exists (which I have a hunch it does), it's still very far away - so the things widely attributed to Elenin, like an Earth catastrophe from it electro-gravitically knocking over the Earth - these are false, unscientific claims - because Elenin is a small object, which doesn't have the mass or heft to do what they're saying.
This clip was made a while back. Now that Elenin has cleared the Asteroid Belt and is closer in its trajectory around the Sun, there's an increasingly *lower* likelihood that it will get knocked off course and strike us, due to the distance of its path from ours.
Don't let TPTB pull a false flag terror operation and blame it on a completely tiny, harmless comet. If enough people debunk this claim, they might shy away from doing it.
Hysterical people are making these claims that are completely unsupported by the evidence or by a basic scientific understanding about the major difference between the orbits of comets and brown dwarf binary twin Suns.
The earthquakes more likely related to Earth-Sun-Jupiter alignments, which happened on the dates every body is talking about. The Sun & Jupiter have the gravitational mass and associated electromagnetic strength to have these effects. Elenin is a tiny object that's passing over 20 million miles away (tens of thousands of lunar distances) from us and 4 million miles above the plane of the ecliptic.
The real upcoming catastrophe this Fall will likely be the collapse of the global financial banking system.
Other objects, like the binary twin may be out there & I know of real, respected astronomers who have been predicting it for decades and they're looking for it. If it's out there, it's still very far away.

We started entering an interstellar cloud, which is part of a galactic arm of the Milky Way around October 2008. NASA says a much later date; I think July 2010.
in any case, this because we've been traveling through the Galactic Plane since 1998 and will be through it in 2016.
But since October 2008, we have been traversing through a field of highly-charged plasma and we've been exposed to levels of cosmic radiation - uncharted, ever before.
This is weakening the magnetosphere of Earth and the heliosphere of the Sun and likely similarly affecting the other planets in our solar system that have magnetospheres (Mars doesn't).
Perhaps this highly-charged environment could lead to increased electromagnetic interaction between objects.
But, especially now that Elenin has cleared the Asteroid Belt and is closer in its trajectory around the Sun, there's an increasingly lower likelihood that it will get knocked off course, due to its distance from us. The point is, it's not heading for us and it's mass is insufficient to produce the mass cataclysm on Earth, as claimed by the hysterical people.
